Crafting Your Thanksgiving Table

Crisp, cool evenings & falling leaves can only mean one thing! Thanksgiving is almost here!! We love everything about celebrating Thanksgiving - a chance to rest, reflect and consider the beautiful people and blessings we have in our lives. When we do that, we think of YOU too!

We are constantly blown away by you and your support of our business. We LOVE this crafting community you’ve helped us build, and we are so thankful for each and every one of you!

We love a good family dinner! Turkey, mashed potatoes, gravy, stuffing, pumpkin pie….we're drooling just thinking about it. Any holiday dinner table needs some festive decor, and we are aaalllll about it. Bring on the pumpkins, table runners & napkins. You name it, we love it. SO... inspired on Pinterest by all the amazing tablescapes out there, we just had to give it a go.

Even better?! We got to work with the amazing & talented, Melanie, owner of Kindred Design and Decor. She is an incredible florist and wedding design planner from our local area! Make sure you check out her work on Instagram!

We’ve come up with three tablescapes brimming with ideas on how to decorate and make your Thanksgiving table special.

We all love a little farmhouse vibe, and this tablescape was so much fun to put together! We made sure to channel our inner Joanna Gains, and we think we did a pretty good job of it!

Farmhouse is always such a welcoming style. The tones are soft and beautiful, and we love the wood accents mixed in! For our centerpiece, we strung 22mm Wood Beads on our Wheat Nylon Cord. It was a just a quick 5 min craft, but it transformed our pumpkin centerpiece into something so much more special looking. A few vintage candle stick holders, our Silicone Craft Mats in white, and voila - farmhouse!

Crafting with this palette was so easy! It started with our Wood Rings turning into napkin rings, with a perfect sprig of Sage to compliment. No fuss.

Of course, no dinner table is complete without wine glasses! We ordered some very cute gold wine glass wire rounds to make some custom wine glass charms and again - it couldn’t have been easier! We chose a couple coordinating 9mm Silicone Beads, slid them on, and we were finished! No more glassware guessing ;)

For this tablescape, we wanted to switch it up and do something that was different but still felt elegant. Something soft, warm, and cozy looking without adding any dark hues.

We opted for Lint colored Placemats to change up our look, and used the most beautiful gauze material as a table runner. Not only that, if you take a close look, we took a few handfuls of our soft Ivory Felt Balls, and Mint Crochet Beads to soften up the look of our centrepiece. We loved the transition from large to small - everything just looks like it fits together!

We may have also gotten a little crafty ;) We made some cutesy candlestick holders out of our 2.60" Beech Wood Rings, and a bit of cording weaved in between them. Of course, always keep candles well supported, and always under supervision when lit.

Our napkin rings were made out of 19mm Lint Silicone Beads. We love silicone beads because of how washable they are, and these napkin rings will be a breeze to throw in the dishwasher after dinner!

Our wine glass charms are appropriately our Stainless Steel Charms! With 7 different messages on them, they’re a precious addition to our table, and a fun little way to give someone a keepsake from your dinner!

We had so much fun with this tablescape! We wanted to try something that might not naturally be our first idea - something dramatic, a bit dark and moody. We’re pretty cheerful, bright and colorful over here, but this was such a fun palette to play with. We took our deep and beautiful Port Wine and Raspberry Wine beads and made them the star of this tablescape!

Melanie so kindly lent us some of her beautiful gold & glass candle votives. Paired with some black (gasp!! BLACK??) candles, we were in loooove! All the vintage candle sticks. All the drama.

Because silicone is heat resistant they made the perfect base for a candle! We kept the rest of our scheme gold, black and white!

Our napkin holders were made from Black Paracord, and a beautiful White Elm Leaf Bead. This style of napkin holder is adjustable and so sleek.

We also took our adorable Mini Tassels as our wine glass charms! Each setting has a different color charm and we thought they were so smart looking!

Not only that, we wanted to figure out a fun way to make name place markers. ANOTHER new product?? Our Heart & Star Leather Keyrings! What a fun dinner favor for your guests to take home! All we did was find a thin Permanent Marker and write our names on the finished side of the Leather. So. Dang. Easy.
